How flatten warped license plate for hanging flat on wall.
Lay the second 2 x 6 board on top of the first board and the license plate.

You know the kind i mean top to bottom.
I have 90 sheets of drywall that i stored for a couple of months against a wall.
Anything more will be noticeable in the finished wall.
The warp is minimal but noticeable.
You may be able to use a hammer and bang it back into place so that it lines up evenly with the stretcher bars that are straight.
The baseplate isn t going to hang off anything what i tried explaining is to find a surface that the plate can sit on without hanging out at all.
